Why do we process personal data

 

We process your personal data for the  following purposes and legal bases  : 

  • to be able to reach you in order to be able to carry out our services

  • to arrange payment processing

  • to deliver goods and services to you 

  • sending direct marketing about similar products 

  • sending newsletters, thematic mailings and  invitations

Provision to third parties

We may provide the data you provide to us to third parties if this is necessary for the implementation of the purposes described above.

For example, we use a third party for:

·      providing (and distributing) newsletters and invitations.

·       Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to track how users use the Website and how effectively our          Adwords ads on Google search result pages are. The information thus obtained, including the address of your             computer (IP address), transferred to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.        Google uses this information to keep track of how our website is used, to provide us with reports about the Website           and to provide its advertisers with information about the effectiveness of their campaigns. Google can provide this information         to third parties if Google is legally obliged to do so, or to the extent that these third parties provide the information on behalf of Google                 process. Dogs and Tails has no influence on this. We have not allowed Google to use the obtained analytics information         for other Google services.

Retention period

Dogs and Tails stores personal data  no longer than necessary  for the purpose for which they were provided or required by law. As a general rule, we keep personal data for a maximum of 5 years after the last use.

Data security

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unlawful processing, including:
